What is Prayer?
Prayer is a loving communication with God
Prayer is the expression of our inner Spiritual
needs. Through prayer, we can find- Strength
of Spirit, Guidance, Wisdom, Joy, and Inner
Peace. (Philippians 4: 6-8)
(6.) Do not be anxious about anything, but in
every situation, by prayer and petition, with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
(7.) And the peace of God, which transcends
all understanding, will guard your hearts and
your minds in Christ Jesus. (8.) Finally,
brothers and sisters, whatever is true,
whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever
is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is
admirable - if anything is excellent or
praiseworthy - think about such things.

152nd Anniversary Prayer Breakfast
August 5, 2017 - 9:30 A. M.
We’ve seen the transformation hundreds of times – people who came to us full of doubt and uncertainty become secure in the knowledge of their rightful place in God’s great kingdom. The change may start slowly – in a Bible Study class or choir participation, perhaps – but once it begins, it picks up speed.
